The government is committed to facilitating micro, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to set up new companies. The reason is that the SMEs could contribute 1-2 percent of economic growth.
This commitment to offer incentives to SMEs is one of 10 incentives included in the 12th Economic Policy Package. The government also supports this policy package with 16 new regulations, ranging from presidential regulations to the cross-ministerial circular letters. The target is to improve the country’s Ease of Doing Business rank to 40th position.
